Our current research projects focus on four areas which reflect the three dimensions of the research cube.
Business and Politics: We study companies' political responsibilities associated with fostering democracy, reducing
discrimination, or creating innovations. We also address companies' obligations concerning human rights.
Trust, Responsibility, and Accountability: Responsibility and accountability are like Siamese twins.
Those actors who are responsible are accountable. Therefore, companies give account to ascribe responsibility and repair trust.
Organizational Legitimacy: We investigate in which respect stakeholders attribute different motives to the corporation
when they read statements about their CSR policy and how this attribution influences their individual legitimacy judgment of the corporation.
Shared Service Center: For several years, multinational corporations have installed special organizational units that
deliver services for all business units. Shared Service Centers are quasi-autonomous business units with a global reach.
